Parking Lot Update 10-01-26

Dear Families,

The safety and well-being of our students and families is always our highest priority. To ensure our campus remains safe, orderly, and efficient during our busiest times of day, we are implementing updated morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures beginning Thursday, October 1.

Please review the following changes and reminders carefully before the new procedures take effect:

• 30-Minute Visitor Spots Blocked Off: To prevent pedestrians from crossing active lanes of vehicle traffic, all visitor parking spaces labeled "30 Minute Parking" will be blocked off during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up hours.
• Drop-Off Lane Guidelines: Vehicles using the drop-off line must stay in the right lane. Students should exit the vehicle only at the posts where school staff are on duty to assist them. Please have your children ready with their backpacks and belongings as you pull up.
• Parking and Walking Your Student: If you choose to park and walk your child to the gate, please park in the available spaces on the right beyond the stop signs or in the extended parking lot. Always use designated sidewalks to walk your child safely to either the drop-off gate or the main front gate. Please do not walk across active driving lanes.
• Drive with Caution: Please drive slowly, avoid distractions, and exercise extreme caution whenever you are in or near our school parking lot.
• Treat Staff with Respect: Our staff members and duty supervisors are outside every day in all weather conditions to direct traffic and keep your children safe. Please follow their signals promptly and treat them with courtesy and respect.

We appreciate your partnership, patience, and cooperation as we transition to these updated procedures. By working together and following these safety guidelines, we can ensure every child arrives at and leaves school safely every day.
